Track Summary

All analyses are reported as the mathematical average for each worm.

Area/Length/Wavelength/Width:

Track length: Length of the center point trajectory.

Centerpoint speed (µm/s): Track length divided by time.

Absolute peristaltic track length: Length of forward motion + length of reverse motion over the total number of frames tracked.

Peristaltic speed (µm/s): Absolute peristaltic track length divided by time.

Peristaltic track length: Length of forward motion - (minus) length of reverse motion over the total number of frames tracked.

Peristaltic speed (µm/s): Peristaltic track length divided by time.

Straight-line distance:Shortest distance between centroids at the beginning and the end of a worm track (trajectory).

Amplitude:

Turn count: Number of body bends based on the Turning Report threshold conditions defined in the Bending angle Mid-point analysis.

Track duration: Total time (in seconds) of contiguous tracked frames for a given worm.

Distance traveled forward/in reverse: Total distance the worm travels forward/in reverse.

Number of reversals: Total from Reversals analysis.

Cumulative reversal or forward time: Total time the worm spends traveling in reverse/forward.

Number of pirouettes: Number of occurrences when there is a reversal followed immediately by an omega bend.

Pirouette time: Average duration of a pirouette.

Mobility times: Depending on what type of motion was selected for tracking in the Mobility analysis, cumulative times for mobility reversal, forward, moving, and idle times may be listed.

Number of Omega bends: Number of omega bend occurrences.

Omega bend time (s): Average length of omega bends in seconds.
